As a self-confessed stationery addict, I’m on the hunt for my planner for next year.

In previous years I’ve had diairies from Kikki-K, Typo, personalised ones from Erin Condren and most recently my Bando agenda.

First things first, you need to figure out what style of planner you’re after. For me personally, I like a one year diary with a weekly view, not too large in size (needs to fit nicely in my handbag) and a bound hard cover – not ring binded. I find the ring binder ones tricky to write in with the large spiral rings getting in the way.

My Bando agenda this year ticked all these boxes except it’s an 18 month one, which I don’t need to do again (it worked well for 2016/2017 but I’m afraid if I did it again, I’d have a double of six month’s pages, which seems wasteful).

I’ve searched high and low to share the best planners to choose from. Here are my favourite agendas.

Rifle Paper Company

I think this one ticks all of the boxes! With a one year weekly view, pretty hard cover (and gorgeous floral patterns on the inside) plus it appears to be a great size. They also have a gorgeous coral version. WINNER. Size: 5.25″ x 7.75″. $43 NZD.

Ruby Diary

Such a fun design, with gold foil patterns inside and out, zodiac signs and a full-day view per page, what’s not to love? Plus it’s a good price at $35 NZD.

Kikki K A5 Linen Diary

I love the weekly layout of this one year diary, with the little designs throughout and it has super cute shopping list and To Do list sections. Also a great size: 8.5″ x 6.1″. $45 NZD.

Kikki K B6 Diary

Simplistic and  chic, this one year diary is just gorgeous. I also really like the clear protective jacket that comes with it – it would help keep it tidy and clean (easy to wipe down). Weekly view. Size: 6.93″ x 4.92″. $40 NZD.

Erin Condren Hardbound

I loved my Erin Condren planner and now they’ve brought out a hard-bound version. Yas! It’s one of the few planners I’ve come across where you can personalise it. From the hard-cover with your own name to different options in the inside, it’s pretty cool. Size: 5″ x 8″ OR 8″ x 10″ in the hardbound. $36 – $43 NZD.

Kate Spade Weekly Diary

Always one to be chic and not too-much, the Kate Spade one year diary has a great layout and I love the laminated divider tabs. Size: 5.25″ x 8.25″. $50 NZD.

Luxe Page A Day

This fun splatter cover diary is for one year but it is a daily view. I really like the design of it though. Size: 7″ × 9.5″. $72 NZD.

18 Month Rainbow Agenda

Ok I know said I don’t want to do an 18 month diary, but I would seriously re-consider for this one. I LOVE the rainbow pages. It has a simplistic weekly view with lots of pops of colour – a different one for each month. Size: 6.5″ × 8.5″. $43 NZD.

Glitter Diary

You can never have too much glitter! This one year planner has a daily layout with times down the side to help keep track of all of your appointments. Super glam. $36 NZD.

Gold Foil Planner

This pretty design with the gold detailing is to die for. Plus the pen holder on the side is such a good touch. One year diary with a weekly view. Size: 5″ x 7.25″. $39 NZD.
