On the hunt for the to-die-for dress to show off at the work-party-of-the-season? If you have a such an occasion marked in your calendar, then look no further. We’ve got you covered.

For obvious reasons we don’t want to be that girl with the shortest skirt or lowest cut top (ahem, ladies). But we do want to look the part. Stylish, chic, smart and fabulous.

To survive the night I strongly suggest you toss back the waters in between each glass of bubbles or after every espresso martini, you’ll be looking so great you’ll want to last the entire night, right?

Wedges or flats packed in your handbag are always recommended. Or at least a heel with a chunky platform on the sole. When those footsies get sore, I don’t know about you but I’m smoke bombing the scene and heading home to my slippers. #Ouchies.

I always debate taking a jacket but from fear of losing it, I usually don’t. Yes we are heading into winter but sometimes it can totally ruin the outfit (ya feel me). It’s totally acceptable to borrow a lad’s jacket on the night but be respectful of it – no make-up left on the collar, thanks.

Lip stainers are the way to go if you’re like me and terrible at topping up your lippe throughout the night. You can have a sneak-peek on your phone’s camera to check it’s looking glam. You’ll normally only have to top up a good lip stain once. (I prefer Kryolan’s range, personally.)

Now let’s find you something to wear. That doesn’t break the bank. #Savings.

I love love love blush. This soft and pretty dress is sure to be a head-turner. $129 from Esther Boutique.

Or what about a lacey number? You can’t go wrong in chic black. $129 from The Iconic.

A chiffon wrap dress I hear you say? I agree! This neck line is the best. $79 from The Iconic.

Another gorgeous plunge neck-line. This time with a dusting of colour. I’m obsessed with long sleeve dresses at the moment. $89 from Missguided.

A high-neck striking dress (again those sleeves). This baby is $139 from Missguided.

This gorgeous pink floaty dress would be a stand out in the usual sea of black and white attire. You can dress it up, and hey, you could even make it work for weekend brunching and lunching. This one’s the most expensive of the lot at $207 from Ellis and Friends. Only splurge if you have the budget.

I love a little black dress. Add sleeves and you know I’m in. This swing mini dress could be worn over and over again. $167 from Ellis and Friends.

Have fun, ladies.

P.S. This isn’t a sponsored post – simply dresses I’m drooling over and wanted to share with you Workhers!
